    what is the general opinion of these esp on small bore ...
    do they work well without damaging bore ? thanks
    shooting .17 ackley hornet so size dos'nt matter

    I use them all the time. Brushes are made of brass aren't they meaning they are softer than the barrel and should be sacrificial?

    Yep .308 is small bore.

    Velocity is thrilling,but diameter does the real killing.
