    Hoppes precut patches

    Morning All

I have been using the hoppes precut square cleaning patches on the rare times I show my rifles any true care.
But I bought a new pack the other day and they seem to be made from a different material and I now having to use 2 patches instead of 1 to get a good fit as well.
I know I've bought the right size for the calibre (.243), so has anyone else noticed this problem lately?

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

yes on a jag. The old pack I had, the material was a little thicker, and I could only push one patch through, that's why its so strange that this new packet is so different.

They must have changed something, eh? I use round ones that you put over the end of a jag spike and push thru. They seem to vary in resistance from time to time but generally do a good job.
TBH I have no idea what brand they are.
