    How big is the hole?

I'm about to modify an existing suppressor from .224 to .243 by simply running a long drill bit down the guts. I'll be doing it in the lathe and ensuring minimal run out. How much projectile clearance should there be? Currently the .224 projectile travels down a 7.5mm hole, so what size hole should a .243 projectile have?

Those with a 6mm type suppressor, could you please let me know your hole size?

    What brand of suppressor ?

If it has a 7.5mm hole all the way through it already a 6.17mm projectile should still go through fine if its aligned properly

Thanks guys, I was pretty certain that 7.5mm was sufficient already. Will check alignment to bore to be certain.
