How Do You Remove the Buttstock from a Bergara BA13 ?

My older BA13 was making grinding noises as i worked the barrel opening mechanism. I applied some oil and that smoothed things out, but I'd like to get further inside to clean out the collected debris. I thought that removing the buttstock might give me some access and I guessed I'd probably find a long bolt inside the stock.... so I removed the butt pad and there was no bolt inside. Ah, I thought.... there might be a cunning angled bolt under the cap on the end of the pistol grip. Nope... nothing there either.

So, if anyone knows the 'correct' way to strip the action and remove the butt, I'd be mighty grateful to learn how. Many thanks in advance.
