I bought a pair of 7X40 Leupold binos in 1986 which stayed as clear as, but lost a bit of focus after I dropped them about 2000. Leupold in Oregon said send them back and they were back and fixed in 10 days.
I left them in the Kaimanawa scrub for 6 weeks last winter, and surprise, surprise they were a bit fogged up.
I dropped them into Hunting and Fishing to forward to importer to get defogged and 6 weeks later Leupold offered to give me a new pair of 8X 42 McKenzie binos as replacement at no cost, which I accepted.
All my optics have been and always will be Leupold.

So I finally managed to get it sent away today, will see what comes of it in the next couple months.
The little cnuts also came back for another go at the car over the weekend, broke a window and ran the battery flat trying to get it started, lucky I took the fuse for the fuel pump out.

You want to borrow an electric fence unit and light the little shits up.

So the answer to "how good is leupolds warranty?" Is farkin excellent.

My brother sent his 12yr old binos away to get the rubber replaced around the front eyepiece, think one side was damaged and they sent him back a brand new pair of Alpine HDs . He was rapped
