Thread: How low are low optilocks

I can't seem to sift thru the bullshit on this
My steel rings on my sako 75 won't allow the zeiss terra 3-9x42
It's not far off but it contacts the barrel
The optilocks I like are the ones without the seperate base or one piece type

Right enough background, how low are low optilocks
The rings I have are 7mm from the flat of the action to the bottom of the scope tube
I think I would need probably 9 for an easy fit with enough space

Anyone able to shed some light?
Also other ring ideas are fine not just optilocks but it seems like it's either leupold steel or optilocks in nz or full blown Gimp style rail
