Thread: How old might these be??

I knew a guy who as part of a syndicate bought 250 k rounds of .22 from CAC when they closed down.

I asked him ;"What did you shoot with all that ammunition?"

His answer was both simple and profound : "Everything".

Used to by at the local hardware shop early seventies.
No licence asked for and I guess not required.
In school uniform 13-15 years old.

All those mass murders resulting from that .... tut tut.

It was really desperate times when I had to do this.
We had to do it when the old man hid his supply or we used all his up.
Used up our fish and chip money.
