How to remove a scope rail.

So I have to remove a rail that has been glued or locktited on what's the best method, as the screws are so dam tight.
Can I apply a little heat or what.

Little heat should get it unstuck. Glued in screws might proof to be a challenge though. Sometimes they will come out without issues, but sometimes they just stay stuck.

Soldering iron tip held on the top of the screw head just long enough to heat the length of the screw can loosen the glue/loctite.... good luck

Hammer and a screwdriver (unless you have a cold chisel) will work, eventually......... if you are in a hurry you could take the screws out first, a drill will work there

Before doing anything ensure you have a good fitting key particularly with cap screws. Once you munt the heads you are in for additional misery.

Even slotted screws should only be attacked with a proper fitting driver.

If necessary buy a new driver.
