how to tell 9/16x24 vs m15

Have my 7mm practical which came with a brake, and a suppressor. the brake screws on nice and tight with good threads, the suppressor threads on losely until it touches the shoulder and then fits tight. The suppressor is an m15.

    Barrel thread od = 14.18mm,
    Brake internal od = 13.12mm

vs the suppressor being an m15

9/16-24 is 14.29mm outside diameter and Internal is about 13.2 depending of the manufacturers tolerances.

15x1 is 15 mm outside diameter and about 14 mm internal .

Don’t shoot with your 15x1 suppressor screwed onto your 9/16-24 barrel or you might end up with a grenade launcher and see your suppressor disappear and wreck its threads.

Yep, in my world an M15 male thread will be 14.8-14.9mm od. (Hose & hydraulics.)
    See above.

Hey bud. On this type of thread you should be able to measure the outside diameter.

9/16 should measure 14 to 14.29mm and M15 should measure very close to 15mm(14.85 to 15mm).
