Thread: Howa 1500 .223 stock

So I have a wallaby/goat/fallow howa with the factory hogue stock. Currently wearing an older leapy vx1. As it is it easy shoots sub moa with cheap ammo (same as H&F bulk).
What are good options for replacing the stock to try lighten up a bit? I don’t use it very often, but am keen to get it a bit lighter if I can. I was looking at replacing the glass, but in reality the vx1 does everything I need it to, and thinking I would be better to update the stock. I have around $500 to play with, and am ok with second hand.
