Thread: Howa 1500

Hey lads looking at getting this in the next few weeks. Is it worth it or can I get better for the same price?

I have one of those in 308. Recommended to me by a number of people - for new, I think its a pretty good deal. Second hand I am sure you can probably get something better but obviously it helps if you know your rifles.

It shoots well, I'm no great shot but it was under an inch at 100

A friend of mine has one in 708 and I quite like it, I'm no expert though. If you don't need the case you could probably get it cheaper, they come threaded for suppressor, the suppressor itself is $300 and you can buy it scoped for under $1k, but it seems reasonably priced against what others are doing.

With no scope for 1600? Not really an equivalent deal.

there's one in 6.5x55 on trademe right now for $500 buy now, get that

i have one in 243 picked it up on trademe for $600 had only fired 20 rounds. i wont be selling it in a hurry really enjoy shooting with it, i would be happy with that gunworks deal.
