Thread: Howa 1500 looking for new chassis

hey guys nice to meet you allI! I was just wondering if there’s any other howa 1500 owners that could help me out, i’ve been looking around for a new stock/chasis because this houge stock isn’t my cup of tea, i’ve been having some trouble finding something that’s in my price range (800-900ish) or anything much in general. I’ve found a stock that i quite like(GRS bifrost) but i would like to see if anyone could help me out and possibly recommend me something better that i could order without much hassle. Most of the time i’ll probably just be shooting for fun on the farm with the odd hunt sometimes, in the future i’d like to try and shoot out to some longer ranges so Id like to pick something that would give me the best chances to do so. Have a few boyds stocks amd like them but brought them in before gun rack was around.

The importer of Howa, is based in hamilton ( their ware house at least), they import some chassis for Howa including the new oryx which should be in your budget . They are importing grs stock as well. They do not sell to the public direct but you can Try to hook up with one of the local shop and see if they can help you get a chassis for you to look at.
Otherwise be patient and go to the sika show where the Howa importer will have a stand.
