Yip there is a thread on it somewhere, originally they were 26" barrel I had mine chopped to 20" it was a very accurate rifle, I only ever used fiocchi 55gn sp in it and it printed those into sub moa 5 shot groups easily.
My only criticism would be the bore wasn't concentric to the barrel but this had zero effect on it's accuracy and to be fair I didn't notice, it wasn't glaringly obvious, my gunsmith picked it up and just made sure when he chopped and re threaded it that the thread was concentric to the bore. All in all a good rifle for the money.
If I was in the market for another 223 it would be high on my list for consideration albeit in a lighter stock, those walnut stocks are quite chunky
