Photo from the end of the initial ladder test. Would have been about 20 shots down the tube, this at the end to check pressure signs which had just started. Not going to win any comps nor is it anything particularly noteworthy accurate wise... but from a $900 rifle and pretty basic handloads made with the absolute barest minimum of gear, by a bloke who hates shooting at paper and can’t wait for it to be over so he can go up the hill and kill pests, its not too bad
Backed off the load, easy repeatable half MOA rifle. Rambo, my .243 Howa sporter is a half MOA rifle too if I can be bothered but it is a bit fussy load wise, had to work quite hard to get there, whereas the Varmint was easy.
Don’t see why you say that @Flyblown if you put that flyer in the group that would play with the big boys for sure
