    Howa Mini Action Stock / Chassis Options - Weights / Prices

    ** UPDATED TO INCLUDE STOCKS **

    Hey Guys,

    Been collecting data and prices on options for a while whilst building my Howa Mini 6.5 Grendel. Thought, I may as well share it, as I know the Howa Mini is becoming more and more popular, and this may assist some decide on their Mini Action Build.

    Barreled Action Weights and Prices that I have seen in the past.
    Disclaimer, this is based on the 6.5 Grendel, but should be fairly similar to other calibers.
    22" Lightweight - $799 - 3.6lbs - 1,633g
    22" Standard - $549 - 3.8lbs - 1,723g
    20" Heavy - $829 - 4.4lbs - 1,995g

    Stock Options, Weights and Prices that I have seen in the past.
    Hi-Tec (Ken Henderson) CF - $995 - 1.32lbs - 600g
    Standard Stock - $139 - 2.2lbs - 998g
    Boyd Featherweight - $ N/A - 2.30lbs - 1,043g
    Boyd Classic - $450 - 2.8lbs - 1,270g

    Chassis Options, Weights and Prices that I have seen in the past.
    EXCL Lite - $349 - 1.1lb - 500g (Still no sign or ETA of stock arrival in NZ)
    Sharps Bro Heatseeker - $1,299 - 2.0lbs - 907g
    MDT LSS - $ N/A - 3.0lbs - 1,360g (Incl. CCS Carbine Stock & Pistol Grip)
    Southern Cross Small Arms TSP X - $699 - 4.1lbs - 1,860g
    Oryx by MDT - $699 - 4.2lbs - 1,905g

    Note: Some prices may have changed
    Prices were based on Reloaders.co.nz when they last had stock.
    Weights of Barreled Actions came from Legacy Sports USA.
    Weights of Chassis came from Manufacturer websites.

    What torque did you do your action screws?
    I managed to split my first plastic trigger guard!

    @berg243 I dont blame you there, Taking ages! Positive that EXCL Lite got heaps of meantions in June, so hopefully means its actually on its way.
    However, with Ken throwing the Carbon Fibre stock in the mix, I am tempted to sell a kidney to go that way!
