    HOWA Mini bottom metal

Have any of you Howa Mini owners replaced the bottom metal on your rifles? If so - who makes the best aftermarket replacement?

Considering importing this, but don't know how much of a hassle it would be. https://www.jeffersonoutdoor.com/sho...h-bottom-metal

Now that Ken Henderson is making Howa Mini stocks, I'm seriously considering a Howa Mini as a base for a .223 build.

Have you been tucked up in a cave somewhere This has numerous threads ending in same result. Yes the Jefferson product is the one to buy and some importers are trying to source or have coming.
Maybe someone could shed light as to who's been the successful importer?

Ah, woops. Should have used the search function.

Well that sounds promising. So there's somebody in NZ whose going to bulk buy them?

I flicked the Jefferson guys an email and they said they're currently out of stock, but they're aiming to have another batch done by the end of the month.

They're probably pandering to the USA market/think all .223 users belong to the tacti-cool crowd, and have to have lots of sticking-out bits on their rifles.

I've heard rumors all over the web that Howa are making a mini action with drop box mag to be sold from next year. Combine that with a Carbon stock and ability to buy just a barreled action make it a fantastic option to buy.
My thoughts are, their 20" feather weight in stainless, drop box mag, carbon stock and a z3 3-9x36.....

Multi stack box mag means 5 shots still, plus they are actually nice to carry...
