Thread: Howa superlite, barreled action length

Afternoon team.

I’m pretty sold on a superlite after handling one recently, will be going in a chassis but I need some measurements to work out what I can get away with for the muzzle device and folding stock

If anyone is able to measure from the end of the rifling to the rear most point on the receiver on the 20’ or 16.25’ rifles that would be greatly appreciated

What chassis with folder are you thinking?

Can you post up a pic of exactly what areas you need measured, I've got a short barreled 308 can run a ruler over

Looking at getting one similar to the mini elude

I really like my howa mini, excellent for the close bush work, but a superlite + chassis IMO is about the end all for a customisable rifle used regularly as a hunting tool, the advantages of a full size rifle round for range, with the modularity and wear resistance of the chassis and light weight rifle seems like a winner to me!

Just chasing the OAL from rear most point on receiver to the muzzle.

Will help me determine what my LOP needs to be in order to have a folder and keep it 30’ OAL on the rifle, or if i choose to get a 20’ and go braked instead of a can

I have one designed for the superlight. Basically an Elude but longer. Likley with an acis mag and a butt pad instead of the metal version
