    Howdy
    Are Howa single stage triggers interchangeable with howa two stage triggers?

    Yes, they are interchangeable but personally I prefer the early ones to the HACT version. ymmv

    Several people have tried the HACT trigger on my mini Howa and all have been surprised that its "factory" and hasn't been tinkered with. Easily one if the best triggers on a factory rifle that I've tried recently as long as you can get past the two stage thing. Having done some fullbore shooting in ancient times I'm pretty accustomed to a two stage and I rather like it. I read that the Camp Perry crowd (can't recall if it was David Tubb or German Salazar) are favouring two stage again - so "back to the future".

    I recently bought a new Howa with the HACT trigger, it the intent of replacing it with something after market. Now I'm not so sure, it pretty good. Will depend on how easily it adjusts.
