    At that range I can't see any issue with a rds at all. It's just the deer that on the other side of a clearing or down a riverbed that could cause frustration.
    Another option to consider is a fwd mounted scout scope. I have a couple of Bushnell 2-7 pistol scopes mounted on rifles and it works well but you do lose a few min at each end of the day compared to a rds or std scope.
