Hi Team,
Just wanting to share my recent experience with a Hushpro suppressor and keen to hear other people's experiences.
I bought a new Hushpro suppressor in .22LR from Serious Shooters on 21 September 2019. The model is called "RF DNA". The staff at Serious Shooters said it is suitable for both subsonic and supersonic ammunition.
I attached it to my CZ 452 22LR. It was shooting highly inconsistent groups, varying anywhere between 2.5 inches to 6 inches at 25m.
I've tried using 2 different scopes, 4 different ammo, but still getting the same outcome.
Shooting without the suppressor reduced the group size to consistently under 1 inch at 25m without any effort, using any of the above scope and ammo.
So any potential inaccuracy that may be caused by rifle, scope and ammo have been eliminated. It was apparent that the issue was solely due to the suppressor.
Another problem is that the suppressor had a rattling sound when I took it home from the shop. I unscrewed it and found tiny bits of loose material inside, so got rid of the crap and screwed it back together. However this still didn't resolve the inaccuracy issue.
Unfortunately I threw away the receipt for it.
I don't want to put down one brand based on one sample. Just wondering whether anyone else had experience with Hushpro? Keen to hear your thoughts, whether it's rimfire or centrefire.
Cheers
