I知 looking to change over the suppressors on 2 of my rifles

    Hi Guys,

I知 looking to change over the suppressors on 2 of my rifles but I don稚 want to rethread the barrels or purchase new suppressors.
Does anyone know of a reputable supplier of thread adaptors to suit:
    M14 x 1 female to ス x 28 male
    and
    ス x 28 female to M14 x 1 male

    Thanks
    Patrick Berry

Because suppressors are so prevalent here commonly folks change the rifle or supressor, adapters are very seldom used.

Agreed, I can’t say I’ve ever seen an adapter here in the wild, years ago a range I went to visit in the south west of Nevada I ran into a bloke running a 30cal can on his 223 ect, I watched it get swapped between two different AR15s before going on the SR-25 clone with an adapter/flashhider, hard to grasp cans there are essentially treated the same as any prohibited part or firearm here

I've ordered 1/2x28 to 5/8x24 and 9/16x24 to 5/8x24 adapters from Brownells before.
But 14x1 to 1/2x28 sounds like a custom job which is going to set you back a bit.

Should have brought DPT suppressor then could have bought different rear section and job be done.. I'm guessing your trying to swap A---B and B---A. Are the calibres/holes through the same size??? You could possibly get too small of hole reamed to accommodate larger projectile and simple run the other with oversized hole. Keep pondering it and answer will pop up.

Merika has different rules to us here in NZ so don't know what sort of answer the OP is expecting to get from us down here.

Any half decent machinist can make a thread adapter reasonably easily. They do need to know that the threads need to be concentric to the through bore and what kind of shoulder the suppressor needs.
