Cool I was tempted by the dark side and embraced it. My first Black Rifle!

    The Black Rifle!

Well the NEA 15 is more bismarck grey and with the FDE furniture not a thing seemed "black" for what I could tell.

Still from a lefty Girly Mans perspective I guess everything looks the same.

Weather permitting test run tomorrow should be a bit different to my M14?

I see what you dudes say about the grown up bloke's Lego or Meccano set!

Next purchase will be some Troy FDE battle sights.... let the journey begin.

Welcome. The AR in AR15 does stand for Another Receipt. You can keep going until you're broke. If you buy the troy battle sights what will you do with the magpul ones you have currently?
I have the exact same set up, NEA with FDE. Looks great and shoots even better.
    Nice purchase.

Thanks lads. Another Receipt is an understatement!

mcche171, totally agree, the magpuls I have on this are the cheapo ones to get me to the range and run it in properly. Just no FDE Troys available and they will never be sold once I have 'em. With all my rifles I like always take care with the irons. Of course, nice glass/red dot is a bonus, but you never know so the irons must be there to do the job when required.

One silly question, if anyone can help, the thread behind the muzzle break on the NEA 15, what on earth attaches to that?

    Cheers, Rogue.

Thanks Beavis! So it begins..... $$$$$$.... to infinity and beyond! Already looked at the VTAC 2 -point sling nice. "Next month, wait, wait, wait, next month OK, say after me, next month" Fuck it off to Ebay...

Still, "I feel Good" as Mr James Brown would say...

Neat pic there, the grey colour will slowly turn black with use and exposure to breakfree. My NEA DMR grey colour almost black now. Whats the trigger like? Switched mine to a timney.
Great rifles lets hope they continue to be imported even if with a thumbhole stock.

Yep, they will be continue to be imported in whatever format you want. NZ is a major customer for NEA and they are committed to us for the long term. We do have a couple of attractive thumbhole options becoming available for those who want to keep guns A Cat.

Good, awaiting pictures with interest I wish my "A"s to remain "A"s. I have no wish to put them on my E.

    Nice.
I run the Magpul BUI rear on my AR under my scope, nothing wrong with it.
