I'm starting to think this could be fun... have just been reading some American forums and a bloke cut a 270 to 16" and was getting 2780fps from a 130gr sst being pushed by H450 (2209). As has already been pointed out I reckon some 2208 could improve on that. A 150gr LRAB being launched at 2600 would hold 1000 ft lbs to 650 yards... hmmmmm

H450 is more equivalent to 2213 in the 270. It replicated my 2213 loads but gave a bit more oomph.
I've got some here that I will never use. You can have it if there is some way of you getting it. About half a can.

V100 in a shorter barrel might be the go too.

I wonder if I should do that to my finlite? But not know what it would be like threading on the fluted barrel.

You could measure the flutes with a caliper and a couple of ball bearings or steel shot and subtract the ball diameters and bore diameter then divide by two to get your wall thickness at different parts of the barrel to see if it is feasible.
"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.

308Win One chambering to rule them all.

Asuming your finn is a 270, maybe wait untill I have a chance to hack up this T3 before you go wrecking a perfectly good Sako

OK that sounds great someone has to be a lab rat and give it a go, my Finn still shoots sub MOA even with 2500k-3000k of fairly hot loads down the tube.

Yep not problem to thread into the grouve of the flute, in most case 14x1 fits , just, otherwise 1/2-20" .
