Thats something , i had thought I would never SAY , But , they make a neat little bolt action rifle that use's the 22TCM , basically a cutdown 223 case to 25mm long , they put in a steel 1911 pistol as well .

No you really don't
Chris many years ago I had a Stirling semi auto .22 gotta say never gave any probs and was fairly accurate for a cheppo, made in the Phillipines from memory.
It would suit , a re-barrel to 9mm , fast twist , heavy 9mm bullets at subsonic speeds ,
Gave it to the Salvation Army I think:thumbsup:
what do they look like and how much are they?
I have a Stirling M20P which is the .22 semi. I think it's great but I would never recommend one to someone, thanks to their Remington-tier QC.
Do a search for Armscor Philippines , should get you to the site , or armscor usa , rockisland armoury , not much info on it , it was at shot 2013 , and heard due to the interest during shot show , they are ramping up to make it very soon .
There one on t/me this am, auto .22
No , interestered in the bolt action made for the small new 22TCM , its centerfire , basically a 223 case cut to 25mm long to function in a hicap M1911 pistol , 40gr jacketed at 2100 fps out of 5 inche barrel , out of the rifle its 2800 fps .
They make an interesting 45 M1911 that has a 22lr slide available , unlike most 22lr tops for 9mm/45 pistols , its all steel , like the CZ75 cadet , and NOT cheaper alloy
Im doing a 9mm....but on an AR. Having issues with Barrel length though, bought 2 barrels. Shes gonna be a fun cheap gun to shoot. will make an Awesome possum gun, wont run away from a 9mm!

Looks like an interesting round

Would be good to compare against a 9mm AR.
After using a 9mm AR, I gotta have 1. ;)
I thought that might be it, damn YHM barrels. apparently the 10.5" is over the legal length with the right stock and just under with the wrong one just a fraction under. I have 10.5" in customs and I'll add a suppressor.
Waitaki Engineering make 9mm suppressors that look good and suppress great for $250 which is perfect as I don't want to spend too much on it. Oceania Defence make a mean 9mm titanium can but the $650 price range is too much.
That does sound good, trimming the 16" back was my back up plan to 12 inchs was my back up plan, I might habe to go with that and flick off the 10.5 inch if it wont stretch. Ill get the 9mm rethreaded to the original weird 9mm thread.
Ive got a waitaki can for the 223 but havent given it a whack yet.
the sexiest sterling i ve made.... cheers
