    What about arborists? They're often taking out ornamental trees; especially cherries etc. They use cherry would for BP guns don't they? They may be doing limbs big enough for a stock or even entire trees? I don't know the different types of wood that's used but I'm sure they're taking out limbs from oaks, walnuts etc. Mind you; wood turners may have already done a ring around; but worth a crack.

    Orchardists removing fruit trees maybe another avenue? Or.... How about just asking on FB free/giveaway or buy sell pages? There maybe cockies with downed trees etc. Just a few thoughts
