About LinkBacksShoutout to @zimmer for helping sort this out and put me in touch with Mike Collings. He somehow managed to find someone who happened to have an old 28mm threaded 25x eyepiece lying around that fits perfectly onto the Kowa.
See pics for old vs new, I'm very happy.
(The two vertical blurs in the pictures are because I'm looking through the back fence, nothing to do with the lens quality)
