I'm about to get another .223 I own a tikka .223 t3x which has my thermal sitting on it for night time culling don't want to keep swapping scopes so looking at getting another .223 for non night work would get another tikka but almost fainted at the price they've shot up to in oz sauer 100 looks like a bargain compared to tikka , anyone got any experience with the .223

Yes tons of. Like all cartridges they have their limitations, if I had to it would do a one shoots all job.

Also look at the mauser M18.
Better factory trigger than a tikka and they shoot really well with factory ammo.
Only downside is 1in10 twist so can't shoot the long heavies.
But I run 55gr hornady training ammo or fiocchi in mine

No, not with a Sauer sorry, but they look nice, and affordable.

What do the CZ's cost now? I have a CZ527 and its lightyears better than any Tikka T3.

I would look at a Howa mini. They sell them in Oz, cheaper than here too.
