Thread: Import Permits

Anything that is a "Part" requires a permit to import. For an MSSA, every component is a "Part". For A-cat, the only component that is a "Part" is the "action".

It gets tricky with ARs, because the "action" doesn't cleanly translate into AR-speak of Upper and Lower Receivers and so on. On top of that, Police are now interpreting that any component that COULD become part of an MSSA IS an MSSA "Part", requiring a permit to import. Shooters importing minor components for A-cat ARs have been caught out and lost their goods because of this.
