    When I received my permit for the springs I had a letter from Police stating I had to hand the permit over to Customs in person. I'm in Chch, parts were in Auckland.

    AO was fine me sending permit (obviously) but customs weren't as lenient towards receiving it this way.

    You could take it to Customs at Christchurch. They told me I could take mine to Wellington Customs. I just post mine to Auckland when they ask for them.

    Yeah nah they wanted permit presented to Customs where goods are being detained. We got there in the end after a couple of weeks...
