Thread: Importing firearm advice!

Hello all.

I know there are similar threads on here - my apologies. ( import permits aside) I just want to know if anyone has imported a firearm from South Africa?

I would like to bring over my late father's hunting rifle. I was wondering on the shipping process that was followed. It's getting really hard to find anyone that will ship a firearm, and I would like it to arrive in one piece.

It's only for sentimental reasons, so if it proves too challenging I may not bother. Would have been nice to pass down to my son one day.

Any advice at all will be appreciated.
