Thread: Importing Muzzleloader

Is importing a Black powder muzzleloader from Dixie Gunworks or Track of the Wolf as straight foward as getting a police import permit and buying on line???.

Are they quite happy to export Guns?

Can you not find something you like in NZ

there's quite a few guys that deal black powder guns here in nz there's a lot of people out there that think you cant get them here??
or is it that you cant get what you want here?..... I know you can bring a muzzle loader barrel out of the usa without a export permit from the usa govt

Already have a Hawken 50cal flint and was thinking of getting a Pennselvenia/ Kentucky rifle. Track of the Wolf give NZ as a export destination and from what I can gather they will just send it. Was just wondering if I was missing something.

Email them 1st may not ship firearms ie brownells etc will ship pretty much anything execpt firearms and ammo but id ask to be sure before ordering saves trying to get refunds etc

Mate can you let me know how you get on? Have been thinking the same thing as you. Just don't have the funds at the moment. Thanks
