    Importing a trigger

Whats the det's about bringing in an after market trigger, do you need an Import permit ? I'm not up with the latest regulation BS

I do have someone in the States that can forward it on to me, so could just send on the down low.
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!

As others have said, get a permit. Takes at least 4 weeks , more if you're not lucky.
DON'T have it sent to you until you do as you risk having it confiscated and destroyed if it arrives here before your permit has been issued
When it arrives, Customs send you a letter and you have to forward a copy of the permit to them.
THEN, work out how you are going to collect it from the Custom's Depot near ( NOT AT) Auckland airport as Customs will not forward it to you.
Then advise Constable Plod that you have collected it.
