Hold the spring in place with the thinnest thing you can find that will work.
Or just get your e cat and get a proper stock

I normally hold them down with a thin butter knife or something similar. Its pretty tricky to remove them again without damaging the spring though.
Yea fucked the spring anyone have a spare.. Haha the struggle is real, e cat it so simple, need to go get mine

Drill the selector hole in the pistol grip deeper, so that you can remove without destroying spring.
Install a grub screw to where the spring used to sit, this will hold spring back in place.
Install.
To remove, undo grub screw, spring drops down deeper hole and is retained.
Remove stock.
