    Interesting new 'scope...

Until recently the American brand SWFA have not bee able to be exported, but they are now.

They have a reputation of being built like a tank and right up there with Nightforce for reliability.

They are pretty basic - no frills like a dial stop. But the clicks are very solid. They are 1st focal plane. 24 oz. Glass is good enough but not exceptional (not HD in 3-15, but there are models with HD glass).

    Mine cost NZD 1,200 landed.

I sighted mine in with 4 shots on my 6.5 and then a couple of hits of the 550 yard gong.

Then a deer at 100 or so, so that wasn't much of a test.

Anyway, if you want a really rugged 'scope that dials well I would recommend them.

Yep as you say... good solid functional scope for reasonable money. Had mine for a couple of years... its on a LR rabbit gun and works well for that. I've got the Mil version and find the reticle good.

Somewhere there is an email address you use for International sales. I will have a look.

@HUNTY and @Mathias I was by myself and had to carry the deer, my pack and the rifle. It was a real jumble and because I was only 45 mins from my vehicle I never really stopped to get myself organised properly. And I arsed up a couple of times. A real pig's muddle.
