    Anyone able to assist?

Oh, and a factory suppressor would be nice.
I bought three new X51 5 shot mags out of France a few years ago. I will try and find the details of where I got them. They had all sorts of spares. I got them transferred at the Nuremberg gun show to a dealer I have in Germany. Picked them up there. I bet the Audex is nicely made? The X51 is beautifully made. Hopefully the French don’t play rugby as well as they made rifles. I have a Gevarm A7 as well and this is also nicely made

I have a X51 in very nice shooting condition (it has been shortened) that is in my "for sale" cabinet if anyone desires one!

I have a brother who may be interested in a spare mag for his Unique Dioptra T if there did end up being some kind of parts order.

Velocity is thrilling, but diameter does the real killing.

Great info Muzza - interesting they used the Remmy 510/512/512 actions for the Nylon series. But.. the 511/512s, although production began early in the 30s, weren't phased out until mid 60s so they overlapped. Good little rifles.

Nice to see the Marlin 39s - excellent wee levers. We've been lucky with lever actions as there were a number of fine makes available until recently. Winchester 9422, Marlin 39 series, Browning/Miroku, and Ruger model 96 (a real wee gem). All of them good.

The only recent lever I had which was a dud was the Henry H001. Very smooth action but thin little barrel threw shots everywhere after 5-6 rounds. Began at around 0.75" at 50m for first group, then rapidly opened out to 2-3". Went back to the shop. I did contact Henry Arms in US as to what was happening - boss Anthony Imperato - but no joy. The Henry H001 lever action is not a Henry design - has been round for a long time in various incarnations as Erma Werke, Iver Johnson and Ithaca. The Henry Goldenboy levers with heavier octagonal barrel may be more consistent.

Well well... Just looking at possible new magazine supply for a Remington 511 on trademe, and noticed all the other rifle models this Rem mag fits.

    https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/marketpl...1?bof=hCUeDXbl

"Description: This 10 rd steel magazine to fit a variety of rifles:

    Remington 511 / 513 / 521 including Scoremaster
    Nylon 11 / 512
    S&R 282 bolt action
    Magtech / CBC 122
    Lithgow / Slanzenger 12 / 15 etc"

Of particular interest is fact it fits the Aussie Lithgow/Slazenger model 12. This is a simple but accurate little 22 - one I learned to shoot with as a pup on the farm a long time ago. Its a rifle I'd think of buying now - esp with spare mags available.

Here's a UK site that will sell mags into NZ - as in another thread. Just about to do a trial order with police form/agent etc to see how practical it is. Check this site - put cursor on 'Magazines' and it appears they have mags for alot of rare rifles like Voere, Krico also.

No Gevarm or Norinco in their list.

One of my father's - a Winchester Model 1885 Lowwall .22LR single shot rifle. Manufactured between 1910 and 1920. Pretty good shooter as well!
Was commandeered by the NZ Army (Home Guard) and then sold out of service.

Any idea what something like this is worth?

Thanks @muzza - a cool bit of history. I think the Black Powder shooting clubs used to have a shooting competitions for these old 22LRs as well.
