G'Day Fella's,
As an Aussie, I'm not actually permitted to attach a suppressor, directly to a rifle and shoot it!
The only way I can do this (even as a firearms dealer), is to attach the suppressor to a barreled action, that is bolted into a test fixture, that I built.
Here are some images of this test fixture.
The image with the Five suppressors sitting on it, is of some of my very early suppressor designs, when I was getting some acoustic testing done.
Now my all stainless .308 capacity cans, are the size of the small "Can" on the right (150mm) and my .223 "Cans" are even shorter.
The view of the test fixture from above, shows the aluminum bedding block that will accept Remington, Winchester, Mauser (and Mauser type) and Savage actions of all lengths.
In recoil, the bedding block and rifle moves rearward along the lineal rails and then automatically re-sets itself, back into battery in the forward position.
I just love designing and making this kinda stuff!
It seems to be what I was put on the planet to do!!!
Doh!
