A few hrs ago a customer brought one in that had been used by the Chinese Olympic team apparently back in the 80/90s very nice rifle.

There is a version of the EM-332 called the NS-522 that has a traditional bolt handle. The correct cutlery-related term for the EM-332 is actually a butter knife bolt handle!

I've never seem one in NZ... I must confess I got a bit excited when I first saw the pics on TM though! Sadly, it was short lived. I would love to have one if each... Having two EM-332s just seems greedy!

I reckon it's an early model JW-15 with a custom sight setup. It's got that funny hook thing behind the bolt that JW-15s have.

weird markings on top of the reciever....the round punched in symbol...almost like old bruno as is the scope dovetails..... definately different... the flare at muzzle reminds me of the old TOZ....

Symbol looks like an archery target with an arrow in the bull. Date of manufacture is under it.

Looks to be a JW-9, the target variant of the JW-8.

Send it to me, I'll shoot it then we can swap out the percussion rifle with it, everyone (including us) will be confused and no-one will get (any) grumpier!
