    @tetawa Alkaline and Lithium disposable cells (AAA, AA) are all 1.5V, and will work the same. The difference being the runtime. Lithium last longer as a general rule of thumb.

    Lithium rechargeable cells (18650 etc) are 4.2V fully charged, and will provide way too much voltage to your bino's.

    Always used Lithium in GPS, dog trackers etc, but wondered why they stated Alkaline only, I know with my Tracking collars remote that if I change from Lithium to Alkaline I have to reprogram it. Don't know why but it has the procedure there.

    Only uses 6x AA batteries.
