A bush pig seems to be somewhere between a carbine and a scout rifle, with optics and the 'legs' to reach out a bit when needed. The focus is on being compact and handy rather than purely lightweight. They are almost invariably also suppressed as the short barrels make for lots of tinnitus and deaf hunting dogs.
