It's called a carbine, not a bush pig.

I thought this would qualify on looks alone but I fear that at 20in the barrel is too long to qualify. Accurate to 50 feet...

Probably one of the original factory bush guns that was desighned for the particular purpose would of been the jungle carbine.

When I was a young fella a "bush pig" was generally the result of too many refreshments at the rugby club and then waking up in the morning next to a not so flash looking female

I personally can’t see an issue.

PS the Duleys called it a Bushpig because with a suppressor right up against the stock, the rifle had a short stubby snout- like a pig. And because they were primarily developed for short range work in the bush - Bushpig.

I have a 1894 and a saddle scabbard for it, but I call that a "levergun". Not much use if you want a horse that can still hear you when you call for it haha. I ended up using my "bushpig" for that job.

That's a bush rifle, for pigs

In the old days, back before ww2, the Winchester 92 carbine in .44/40 was known as a 'bush carbine'.

So at what length does a rifle become classified as a bushpig? 16"? 18" surely not....

The old cullers using a cut down sporter 303 certainly were at the fore front of this type of rifle. A good example is seen in Mike Bennetts book.
