    Just looking

Through the latest catalogue from Hunting and Fishing
Seems Hunting and Thieving have again seen an opportunity to rip us off as they do with synthetic sakos
CZ 527 range are now near 2k without rings
They have figured out that we like them so the ... "Lets Fuck them Over" policy that has been so successful over the last few years has been carried on.

People, if you can, support you local independent shop or soon there will be none left.

The only reason I go into a h+f store is to see what second hand firearms they have.

Which doesn't speak much for their new ones.

Yeah I already know that Stug
Giving a link to an agents price is deceptive.
Do you think anyone buys from them direct. Have You?

Why is it deceptive to list the price the agent recommends they be sold at? H&F are simply quoting the price recommended by the agent.

    Dead right there.

All I meant was the price there is kilwell retail not what you or I could get it for, neither is it what say H/Fish can get it for, the above mentioned Kahles scope that I got through them was retailed to me 70$ cheaper than the price On the Kilwell sight
Deceptive was a wrong choice of word , sorry.

    Said Page.

The only thing on those 2 pages that's priced reasonably is the Ruger AR-556.

I remember when the CZ Americans where $1300!

An independant gunshop has the same Ruger for $1650, possibly a loss leader but he doesn't usually operate like that - H&F definitely are out to make money, which is fair enough if you like being bent over, but what really gets me is the "arrangements" between wholesalers and the chains to stifle/shut out the competition. Beretta (Tikka, Sako etc) and Swaro being recent examples - I don't feel any guilt or disloyalty in buying online from overseas for those products.

$1800 for a budget AR. Hardly reasonable.
