these look like very cool rifles that look very well thaught out at quite a good USD price

Iv just stumbeled across them but they look like the best bits of a few rifles put together in a nice light package,

Yep there shoddy is the hiz. Dunno if its all models but they make one rifled getting 2inch groups at 100yards with slugs. That would be an epic roar gun.

The Approved list doesn't mean much, heaps of firearms are missing from it.

The SU-16 would make a great light weight pack rifle but the folding stock puts it in a grey area. I think the SU-16CA will be accepted on A cat as it cannot be fired when the stock is folded however I'm sure the SU-16C will be E cat or even C cat as it can be fire in its folded position.

Id be happy with the version that the trigger folds forward rendering it unfireabile the SU16ca

4.7 pounds is a very light little rifle
700usd ish price is damn appealing

I think the Cali version is the one that folds but cant be fire in that state. Then its similar to your 10/22 take downs but the parts are still attached

The shotgun is a piece of poo - utter turd - they have a number of issues
Keltec basically make pistols and advertise the rest - you cant 'really' buy one.. they make about 5 rifles a year it seems LOL
Been trying for about 18 months but not much headway.
I have played with one thats in NZ - pretty cool - bit cheapie but the bipod and folder is a neat feature

Keltec have like a 6000 round life expectancy. According to keltec. When the manufacturer says 'yeah it'll only last 6000 rounds' you don't pick that as an indicator of a high quality firearm

Id be lucky to fire 6000 rounds thru any one of my rifles

I see the point that your are making tho.
Nutnfancy on youtube compairs them with ruger mini14s which often they are neck in neck bar the folding feature.
I should have taken that as a warning

I thought the new Mini's were ok? I'd have an SU16 for reasons. Probably prefer an RFB though.

they have good grouping ability but the one that i used in 6.8 the group would walk all over the place. I suspect it is because they clip into the stock not screw and they are not designed for accuraccy.
just not alot to like about them
