Thread: Kestrel wind meter

Hi all, where’s the cheapest place to get a Kestrel 5700 Elite?
The exchange rate from the USA is too much and not worth it. I know Dead Eye Dicks have them but is there anywhere else?

Just suck it up and buy one as it's the one bit of kit ya need if you are serious about elr.
If I lost mine I would buy another tommorow I rate them that highly

What was the price?

Not cheap 1200 they sold 4 that week, the wife thought I bought another rifle and she knew I’ve been after one for a while as my other mates are using the old 4500 model.

gunsnz is also dealer for kestrel now

1200 sounds like good value given the price of the lesser Sportsman model @1k in NZ, Anyway I've ordered from the US direct and will take my chances at customs, even with GST, it should be a few hundred less $ than buying here. The exchange rate is pretty good just now.
