    Kimber Hunter 308

I was lucky enough to see the first Kimber Hunter rifles to arrive in the country this afternoon.

The stock seems to be very stiff for a plastic one.

The colour is a little different but easy to get used too

    It has a detachable magazine

It is essentially a Montana with a detachable magazine in a cheaper & about 100 grams heavier stock.

This one weighs 2.450 kgs, 5.64 lbs, the calibres available are, 243, Jaffa & 308 for a RRP of around $1900

A very nice rifle for the price, they even come with a MOA guarantee

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

For a little more I'd much prefer the Montana.

They have gone from boring grey to boring tan. They should offer any colour option as long as it is black:-)

My one is going to be boring black before long, as the grey is wearing/getting chipped off. Cool rifle though.

The Hunter with its solid plastic stock won't have that problem.

Is the Kimber hunter rifle likely to come out in 223?
