They might bring in a few ( hopefully ) but when I saked em about getting a Montana in 338 Fed I was told it would be only by special order & have to wait a few months
I would of thought that they could include half a dozen in their order, I reckon they would sell quite well with the correct marketing.

When I first thought about getting a 338 a couple of years ago & asked at my local HnF'ing the boss man thought I was pulling his tit & I had to pull out a ammo catalog to show him the 338 Fed was real

I've owned a few montanas, and the impression I've got from them was that during a fall, you would clean snap one of those barrels in half. A fluted one I imagine would be worse? Don't get me wrong, I love the montana and it is my go-to rifle but how light is too light?

Iv been talking to them about a standard montana in 280ai for a couple of years, still nothing, not all their fault though.
From what I can gather the new model has same contour barrel as the standard but fluted, will probly be in the $3k+ NZ reigion. If they have ironed out all the old faults it would well worth a look.
