Have you thought about posting an options list wingman with a price guide attached.

It might be worth it for prospective buyers wondering if this sort of thing is within their grasp.

I'm sure people understand that prices change overnight sometimes with the variables involved in the costs of materials etc.

With 11 pages of info I thought it was pretty self explanitory, but let me condense it into 1 post.

I am a gunsmith who works out the back of a retail gun shop. I designed this chassis with a good mate who shared the need for a lightweight compact chassis rifle
and decided to make a few more to share with others.
There are now small batches getting made through a talented engineer on his CNC gear. He works closely with me and has been refining the design to be even better and lighter than the previous batch so it will continue to be improved. This is the advantage of smaller custom batch production.
If you are after a bare chassis they are $1000. All you will need is your choice of AR pistol grip and you can drop in your Howa mini and go shoot something.

If you need a rifle to fit the chassis you need to contact the shop to check what is currently in NZ stock and go from there. The importers have had very little stock of Howa minis and the ones they do get sell out fast.
If you have your own rifle you want modified and fitted to a chassis you also need to contact the shop.
I can't exactly list every component and option price as the list would be massive.
You can speak with the sales team about your custom requirements/options such as: Stainless or blued action, heavy or light barrel, chambering, barrel length, thread, suppressor, carbon sleeving, bipod, scope, rails, rings, extra mags, AR grip type, sling, M-Lok rail accessories, additional lightening, titanium screw sets, custom reloading info, sighting and drop chart service etc etc.
Once all this is decided I will get a job card for your build and it will be put together for you within a few days as long as all components you ordered are in stock. If they are not you can change to other components or just wait longer
Howa have discontinued many of the howa mini chamberings such as .222rem, 204 ruger and 450 bushmaster and the 6mmARC have been delayed multiple times. I have been told by the importers that there are only 20 6mm ARCs coming and they are due this month.. Im not holding my breath on that one as they have been saying this for 3 years now and still nothing..

I am just completing all the carbon fiber work on the chassis now so the current orders should start rolling out this week/early next week.

As you say prices of components are changing with every order from supplier so to get a solid quote you need to ring the shop. The wholesalers have been receiving very little of what they order and sell out fast so if there's something you want and it is in stock you need to jump on it because it will likely be gone overnight.

@AR7 sounds like this week or early next week. Even the 'stocks only' require the Carbon Fiber bits.
Definately looking forward to getting my phone call! I will drop everything I am doing and drive straight there to collect.

Sounds like I need to find a pistol grip though! I had thought this was included.

Didn’t think about the pistol grip myself. Makes sense as it can be a very personalised item regarding fit. DeltaMikes down our way have a good selection so at least I can try a few on the chassis before I buy one. Won’t be long now for those of us in the que.

All the pre orders should be ready to pick up on Monday. Some of the custom builds are still awaiting a few parts.

Ordered. Amazing piece of engineering Wingman.

I’ve opted a 6.5 Grendel with a 12inch barrel carbon sleeved. Wondering how have you found the 10.5 Inch barrel? Have you lost much velocity going that short or noticed any other disadvantages?

Good on ya mate, I'm sure you will love it.

Disadvantages? No. I handload 120gr ELMs and 120gr Targex pills (which I highly recomend in the Grendel) so claw back most of the lost velocity with good component choice. I'm sure all my mates I hunt with can confirm, the 10.5" Grendel has been a stone cold killer.. nothing runs away.
The the lighter jacket 120gr nearly always dump 100% of thier energy on the animal not just zip through.
The consistant accuracy gives methe confidence to head and neck shoot everything so not to loose too much meat.
Here's a pic of a fallow I hit front on low in the neck at about 130m, it smashed the spine and grenaded between the shoulder blades.. these bullets don't need a lot of speed to deliver good terminal damage.
