Yep that will be next option. Likley best just reluctant with the potential galvanic corrosion and having it stay in there well

Ah, its not that bad. they use a similar system on the front of boats to stop the s hook wearing thru the connection to the front of the boat to winch them onto their trailers.

Once anodised, the galvanic reaction will be greatly reduced. Coated with green loctite, it will help to reduce it a bit more again.

Wingman has used a sig one. I'm struggling to find one. Importing some 55six ones to see if they will work. Might need to design my own

Rob: I think the QD pocket should handle the wear and tear if anodized correctly fallback could be 7075 insert or whole piece

@Jake77I went with the contrast colour for the most recent hunt. Incredibly accurate rifle.

So great to see people out there enjoying these lightweights. Great to see the improvements Rob has made to them too!
Makes all those late nights worth it for me

We appreciated all your efforts @Wingman and Rob. Mine is an absolute pleasure to carry but still exploring sight options. Just waiting for mounts for the VX- Hog but I did like the red-dot. Just felt I was lacking in a bit of magnification.

I've been experimenting with more specific shot placement now that I'm getting more familiar with it. These pictures are from a walk last week. 73gr ELD-M at 120m. I think I'm ready to go hunting deer with it now.

Totally! The nannies are fantastic eating. I had to travel a wee way north for these ones. The neck shots sure save a lot of meat.
