It's a super product already but the additional weight saving would take it to another level.

Is there an option for more of a handguard? As in longer/wraps around the barrel. I understand the weight saving from a minimalist handguard but definitely prefer having something to hang onto or rest on expedient support.

I totally get the micro action thing and think this is a cool gun, is there any plans to do a normal short action size gun so we can shoot some of the more normal deer calibers. A 22-250 and 308 switch barrel would be sweet.

No not at this stage. The short action is the same as any remington and tikka action length out there and plenty of companies already make chassis for them.Quote:

Thought about doing one to suit a Kimber 84m action? They are lighter than the howa mini action and take all the 308 based cases. Hunter models are pretty affordable as a base rifle. Nice light set up.
Remove the front action torx bolt, then under that a 3mm allen key to undo the switch barrel locating grub screw, and change barrels. It's about a 3-minute job.

I have a few bits and pieces on the drawing board and waiting for a few parts but plan on a barrel shave to 11in on the grendel which will make it many inches shorter than factory barrel even with suppressor fitted as in pic and SOOO light not even going to feel it on a sling.

It's ridiculously light, like a toy. Mine has a 14.5 or 16" barrel, I forget, but for a given barrel length the 300blk is even lighter due to the hole down the middle being larger, with the OD being the same. Would balance better tooQuote:
