Weight totally depends on what the rifle is chambered in, barrel length and thickness.. suppressor, grip and scope used.
The chassis sits at about 600 grams with most grips fitted.
The barreled actions fluctuate a lot between a s/s light weight and a blued heavy barrel. The best weight savings is achieved by cutting the barrel short, thinning it and fitting a carbon tension sleeve.
Very easy to achieve a sub 2kg rifle fully set up.
My personal rifle in 6.5 grendel is 1.6kg.

With the chassis,grip (heavy rubberized one at that) and neopod bipod fitted I am at around 700 grams ..... The original stock alone was nigh on a kilo.....
When I first picked up the chassis I honestly thought someone was taking the piss and it was just a toy , not a rifle part.
@Wingman any vids of these up being used yet?
I'm just waiting on my rings to turn up, then I'll get it on the scale as a 12.5" Grendel with a VX5. Might even do a video with it if I get time.

@Wingman, would it be possible please to describe the build of your rifle and the various lightening steps necessary from normal (if any) that gives the stated 1.6kg weight, assuming already that that figure is without bipod, scope and rings?

My Grendel started as the lightweight S/S model. It has a smaller knox profile and lends itself to a much lighter build. My barrel has been cut back to 10.5" re-profiled and carbon fiber tension sleeved. It now weighs 394 grams. The bare s/s lightweight action is about 360gr from memory but I dont seem to have a photo..

My bolt knob has been removed and replaced with a carbon one which shaved another 7 grams.

All the bolts on the rifle (102gr) have been replaced with titanium bolts (46gr).
All my accessories are also lightweight options:
I run the shorter DPT Mini over barrel suppressor with 2 baffles. 200gr instead of 285gr for the std DPT.

The already light Talley ultra low rings have been machined/ hollowed out on the underside shaving a few more grams... I run a very minimalistic M-loc bipod, and a compact scope.
There are lots of other small things that shave very small amounts of weight but this all removes from the total weight.
I want one of these chassis for my rem700 sa!!

While 6mm ARC has some benefits with a long barrel shooting 100-110gr bullets it is pretty limp wristed with a short barrel which I designed this chassis to be used with.
Ideally a 12.5 inch barrel is where this chassis shines to keep it compact and light without loosing its knockdown power in the Howa mini chamberings.
I have built a few 6mm ARCs and they have nothing on a 6.5mm Grendel with a short barrel. The Grendel runs the higher BC 123gr bullets with the option of running 130gr or even 140gr if you wanted more energy.
6mm Grendel can spice up the ARC a bit and can be made with a Grendel bushing neck die with a 6mm bushing.
6mm AR turbo 40deg for the speed chasers.
6x45 is better for the slower twist lighter 6mm bullets but in general the 6mm range need a 20" to 24" barrel to get performance to match the 6.5 grendel.
6BR or 6mm Dasher are possible built on the .450 bushmaster bolt face. Whether or not the mini action with its smaller bolt lugs are designed to cope with these higher presuered cartridges is debatable.

Haven't got the figures in front of me, but IIRC the Quickload models were very anemic. Like 2100-2200 ft/sec MV.
Whilst I get the weight / portability bonus, a 20" 6mm barrel in 6mm XC / Creedmoor etc is going to be carry way more energy downrange with the 108gr ELD-M for example.
My 22" 6mm has almost double the energy of a 12.5" Grendel assuming a 2,300 ft/sec MV for the Grendel, which is probably generous. And the Grendel performs considerably worse in windage as well. If I were to shorten my 6mm barrel to 16" I'm pretty confident I'd be seeing an MV around 2,700 ft/sec, which still significantly outperforms the Grendel down-range.
So unless I'm missing something here, there's pretty major trade-off in killing power going for the mini-action / short barrel package.
Would be good to hear your views on that.
Hey mate, you miss understand what I said.. I'm comparing 6mm offerings (6mm ARC 6ppc 6x45 etc) in the limited mag length howa mini rifle that these chassis are designed for... apple's and oranges comparing a 6mm Creedmore to a 12.5" 6.5 Grandel.
The 12.5 grendel gets just under 2300fps with BM8208.
To state the obvious at this point, a 12.5" 6mm ARC shooting 108s doesnt come close to a 6.5 Grendel shooting 123gr.
There is a cross over point where most of the howa mini chamberings alighn, some flatter shooting and some harder hitting but I am a speaking from a longer range carried energy point of view. Maybe I should have made that more transparent. I have also had better luck with the 6.5 match bullets over the 6mm match bullets when it comes to 100% energy dump on animals with no pass through. So although the custom loaded 12.5" 6mm a has a little more muzzle velocity (2360fps) than the 6.5mm (2290fps) it doesn't kill as well as the grendel in my experience.
As you well know I do enjoy a longer shot so this is how I tend to trade these things off against each other but either cartridge is as good as a full length .223rem at more moderate hunting ranges.

A very custom prototype 9mm Luger in a Ceracoated flat dark earth Elude chassis. Runs 1911 9 round mags with a custom mag adaptor and custom control feed bolt.
Stacks 147gr sub ammo out of the 11" vulcan fast 1-10" twist S/S barrel into neat little ragged hole groups at 50y.

Also a mini thumper in .450 Bushmaster, 13" barrel with interchangeable muzzle break and suppressor for subs and supers. Topped of with the Leupold 1-4x20 Pig plex.. This one is a whole lot of fun..

I picked up my xmas pressie but unfortunately no chance to shoot yet.
It's a 6.5 Grendel with the carbon tensioned 12.5" barrel + DPT, topped with a 1-8x Nikko Stirling Octa.
The chassis alone is unbelievably light! Truly a some great engineering there.

(Temporarily removed the cheek riser until I sort out a decent cheek weld for my face... even though scope is sitting on medium rings, the butt stock tube is better for me.)
@Wingman do you have any chassis in stock or are they all currently spoken for?

Mine is finally up and running also.
