Thread: Knife Restoring - help

Hey all,
So I have purchases a nice old knife, In need of a restoration and hopfully one day, I wil hand it down to my children and so on.
Where would I start? I was thining of taking the rivets off some how, and getting the steel sandblasted to begin with ? It obviously need some new accessoriest put into the knife, but will see to what extent once sand blastered.

How would you go about cleaning up the antler or bone in the handle ?
